  • The Faculty Liaison Role is intended to enhance course administration by delegating certain course management responsibilities to Faculty who are closely familiar with departmental operations. This role provides elevated access to the myeLearning system to support faculty more effectively. 


    Before access is granted, the following steps must be completed: 

    • Acceptable Usage Policy: The designated staff member must review and sign the Acceptable Usage Policy, which outlines the responsibilities and expectations for users with elevated access. 
    • Training Recommendation: It is strongly recommended that the staff member schedules a training session with the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) to ensure proper and effective use of the myeLearning environment. 

    By submitting this form, you confirm the following: 

    • You are requesting to Add Faculty Liaison access for the staff member(s) identified in this form.
    • Please notify Campus IT Services at myelearning@sta.uwi.edu of any changes in the staff member’s employment status or duties that may affect their access.

  • Please indicate the name, position, staff ID, and the Academic Year for which you are requesting assignment of the Faculty Liasion role. The Academic Year indicated will determine which Year of course content the Liaison can access. e.g., Academic Year: 2017-2018 Semester I.

  • It is strongly recommended that designated Liaison’s complete the requisite training as specified in the myeLearning Acceptance Use Policy. Has the authorized Liasion received formal training on the myeLearning application?*

    Approval of Faculty Liaison access requires two levels of approval. The first level of approval is from the supervisor of the requester of the Faculty Liaison access, and the second level of approval is from the Dean or Head of Department of the faculty.
